14 Koreans Advance From Asian Tour Q-School First Stage
The completion of the Asian Tour Q-school First Stage in Thailand resulted in multiple success for Korean golfers hoping to secure playing rights for the upcoming season.
There is still one more stage to go, but there will be a number of Koreans brimming with confidence ahead of next weeks Asian Tour Final Stage qualification, in Bangkok, Thailand.
A total of 14 Koreans finished inside the qualification marks across the two weeks, with Sangpil Yoon and Songgyo Yoo coming out on top in their groups.
After last years success by Yikeun Chang, it will come as no surprise if another Korean takes the honour next week. However, a much stronger field awaits with the likes of long-term European Tour player Richard Green, amongst many Asian Tour regulars hoping to reclaim their 2017 playing rights.
The 2017 Asian Tour season starts on January 19th in Singapore, with Younghan Song hoping to defend his title.
