Web.com Tour: Lee & Kim start off in the Bahamas
Kyoung Hoon Lee and Taewoo Kim will tee off later today in the Web.com Tour season opener; The Great Exuma Classic.
The picturesque Sandals Emerald Bay is expected to provide a tough test, with high winds forecasted during the week. The irregular scheduling of the tournament, from Sunday to Wednesday, is sure increase interest from the global golf audience.
The Bahamas will also be hosting the second Web.com tournament of the year in two weeks from now; quite the location to start off the 2017 season!
Current Korea Open title holder Lee, secured his 2017 Web.com card via Q-School, while two-time 2016 China PGA Tour winner Kim, finished inside the top 5 on the Chinese order of merit, providing him with playing rights for the season ahead.
They will both be hoping for a positive start to 2017, and it will come as no surprise if either of them ends up winning this week.
