Bo Mee Lee Striving For 2017 Breakthrough Win
It’s been a while since Bo Mee Lee has experienced such a drought without winning a JLPGA tournament. Three years in fact!
In 2015, Lee won one tournament in May, June, August, September, October and November twice. Last year, she won in March, June, August (twice) and November, which was her last win to date. Just over six months without a victory doesn’t seem like a long time, but for Lee it probably feels twice as long, especially with the form her fellow Koreans are showing this year in Japan.
Ha Neul Kim (twice),Sun Ju Ahn, Min Young Lee and Mi Jeon Jeong have all been in the JLPGA winners circle this year, which has surely seen Lee’s quest for another trophy escalate.
All of the aforementioned players will be teeing it up this week at the Resort Trust Ladies Championship. Can Lee finally end her ‘mini drought’? Lets see on Sunday evening!
