KPGA: Ji Hoon Lee Wins Shortened Caido Jeju Open
Ji Hoon Lee claimed his first KPGA Tour at the Jeju Open today, after heavy rain and high winds forced the cancellation of the final round, that was nearing its completion. Lee was two shots clear starting his back nine, when the decision was made to end play and revert back to the Saturday evening leaderboard.
The correct decision was made by the KPGA Tour in this situation, although it meant the tournament was somewhat of an anti-climax.
Ji Hoon Lee will certainly not be complaining after such a long wait to claim his first win.
Also, with this tournament being the last before the inaugural PGA Tour CJ Cup, the three spots to the highest ranked players went to Jinho Choi, Junghwan Lee and Hyungjoon Lee.
