KLPGA: Maiden Tour Win (dy…) For Hyesun Kim
The KLPGA Tour was forced cancel its final round of the SK Seokyung Ladies Classic, due to extremely high winds on Jeju Island.
With both Hyesun Kim and Jeong Eun Lee tied on -14 prior to the final day, in spite of the near unplayable conditions, it was decided that a 3 hole playoff between the duo was the best solution.
Having both parred the first two holes, an error by Lee, which led to her finding the hazard, opened the door for Kim to claim her first victory on the KLPGA Tour. The full purse was paid out!
